Being in the past is amazingly odd! I wonder if Professor Lupin, Sirius, Harry's father, and Scabbers Peter Pettigrew really are as badly behaved as everyone claims. I have a feeling that they're the kind of teenagers that would work in Fred & George's shop...

I'm a bit concerned about Harry, because knowing him, he'll be all over his parents and the others, and probably expose us, ruining the future, and making things quite crazy. I mean, if someone told me that I was his or her mother, I'd probably have a spasm! So, to ensure that he doesn't do that, I'll have to keep a close eye on him...

Ron isn't awake. Not that I'm worried, it's just, you know, we're all friends and if something happened then I'd die inside we'd be really heartbroken. I hope he wakes up soon...

I wonder if Lily's as smart as I've heard. And if Snape's already anti-Gryffindor, or if he develops that way later. Hm. "Insufferable know-it-all"... Things to ponder I suppose...

Oh, Merlin, if what everyone says is true, and Lily and James hate each other as much as they're supposed to, then I can only wonder how Harry will react.

Bah humbug, this is the worst Christmas ever. I miss mum, dad, Ron, and Crookshanks.
