This is totally embarrassing, considering what I wanted to do just a few days ago. Maybe the Christmas spirit got to me?

I think...we need to tell someone. Not everyone, mind you, but just one person. Maybe I'm willing to take that risk because it'd be nearly impossible for my birth to be ruined, as my parents have no involvement with Hogwarts here...I hope I'm not that evil!

But, what if we were meant to meddle with the past, and we don't? I don't think telling one person would harm anything, and it might save us later--no one's parents can know, and we would have to ensure that we told someone trustworthy.

I'm just afraid...what if James and Lily finally decide they hate each other? Harry and I, as the children from the plague-filled village, are hardly going to be able to help them get back together! But what if someone who knew them could encourage them?

I thought I'd ponder out who would work. I looked over the class rosters today, I only hope I remember the names I want to...

James: Harry's father, so could accidentally ruin history if I were to reveal the truth to him...
Lily: same as above, don't want to pressure her to love someone
Sirius
Lupin
Peter: A git, why would I ask a git?
Snape: I'm not entirely sure where Snape's allegiance lies. I think he's good, but I don't want to risk it.
Sappho: Even though she seems nice, I don't want to involve anyone who doesn't have a large role in the future.
Malfoy: Draco's father. A problem for the same reasons as the Potters
Lexine (I hope this is her name. Luna's mother): A problem for the same reason as the Potters.
Neville's Parents: Same as above.
Prof. McGonagall: she would probably wouldn't have much influence on who is dating whom, so I think I'll exclude her...although I wish I could ask her for advice. 

So that leaves Professor Lupin, and Sirius. 

Lupin:
PROS: influence on Marauders, gets along with both James & Lily, don't have to explain his death to him, intelligent, has chocolate
CONS: sensitive (may react badly to hearing all his friends are dead), werewolf (can't help on a full moon)

Sirius:
PROS: influence on Marauders, very close to James, sneaky (what with all those pranks), charismatic
CONS: dead in the future, also in jail in the future, doesn't get along with Lily, hates Slytherins with a passion, bullies others

Sigh. I haven't a clue what I'm going to do...
