Legens

I know that none of you are talking to me, but I feel like writing anyway.

I've been missing my parents, so I read some Muggle literature last night. Unfortunately, the books I read in the Muggles section of the school library were not exactly cheerful. A Modest Proposal is hardly the feel-good book of the year...

Does anyone have any Muggle books or interesting faerie tales I could borrow? I haven't had much to do since I've already taken all the courses I'm in and I could use some good books. I've read nearly all the textbooks available.

Ron, could we talk? That fight was so stupid

I bring books from home, since you are right about the library's selection. You can take a look any time you like.

Thank you so much. I'm going to take you up on that.

How are you feeling about the situation? Any better?

Not any better, really. It's all so unbelievable. I guess I shouldn't trouble you with my petty issues when you've got all this to deal with, though.

I don't think your issues are petty at all. No one else will talk to me anyway.

The only thing I read is Shakespeare and Austen, but you can borrow that, if you'd like.

Thanks for the offer, but the library was well-stocked on Shakespeare. So you're a fan of Muggle literature?

Ah. Well then.

I'm not really a picky reader. I'll read almost anything.

I'm the same way. What books are your favorites?

Ohh I don't know. It varies. Right now I'm reading Four Quartets. I got it for my birthday.

The one by T.S. Eliot? Are you enjoying it so far?

Yes.

Yes, I am. Eliot is a constant favorite of mine.

I'm not sure if it'll help any, but there are a few Muggle books I know you probably haven't read. Perhaps you'll like them. Next Hogsmeade trip, you and I should go.

You can meet us at the Pear portrait that leads to the kitchens. We'll go from there.

There's more to life than books.

Oh, but you're Harry's bookish friend. Carry on!

I never What do you expect

Books are safer, though. They don't get angry or do stupid things or insult you for reading them

{OOC: Yes, I *am* talking to myself. :P}
